New Beginnings....Sweet Lilac DT Card

Hi there,

this month over at the Sweet Lilac Flowers Challenge Blog the theme

is New Beginnings, and I picked a couple of new baby cards to make.

I printed the images then put them through my cameo

to get the heart shapes..I coloured them using my copics and pencils.

I inked all the edges with my walnut stain distress inks. 

I couldn't decide between a boy card or a girl one so I did both.

The amazing image is Butterfly Baby from Saturated Canary

Lace, ribbon slider and flowers are of course from Sweet Lilac Flowers.

Mono at That Craft Place

Well, I have been a VERY bad blogger I haven't blogged for ages.

That because I was so so busy in the run up to Christmas

I didn't have any time at all....

I was making some glass blocks with photo's ect

on them I never dreamed they would be so popular..

Anyway I'm pleased to say I'm back making cards again...

This week the challenge over at That Craft Place is MONOCHROME..

I wanted to make a softer coloured card so goggled it and double checked

Mono is black and white OR varying shades of the same colour...

I have used lots of bits from That Craft Place on this one....The fibers, moss, wooden heart

and the dried flowers are all from the shop. I have used the amazing image

Kit from Saturated Canary..

The Ovals and sentiments were cut on my Cameo.
