That Craft Place - Alter it

Morning,

This time around at That Craft Place the challenge is

Alter It.

I love using my cameo to add vinyl to things so I knew 

straight away what I wanted to share..

I have altered some plain slate coasters into these.

This is what they looked like to start with, nice but a bit plain

 I picked out a couple of nice phrases from the Silhouette store, 

measured the coasters and using my cameo I cut them to fit the coasters 

 Using transfer tape I added the vinyl to the coasters, I could have left them like that

but decided to get a lovely shine on them by painting over the top

of them with the brilliant All Round Medium from That Craft Place

I gave them 2 coats letting each coat dry for about 2 hours in between.

and once they are dry they are protected from the heat of the mugs and they have 

a fabulous shine to them

Sugar and Betty-Anything Goes
