Just Magnolia get in shape

When i saw that this weeks challenge was to make a shaped card i thought oh god i don't do shapes then i looked at all the design team makes and took inspiration from them and came up with this one. I'm really pleased with it. i made the card blank by drawing around a card wrap i had then again to make a smaller one, you cant really tell on the pic but the dots on the black card are green i used black magic card and sanded it so the green came through.

2 in one sketch and stash & dotties world

This one is for 2 challenges the sketch and stash challenge fab sketch to follow and i used my neglected digi stamp from charmed i was going to use my girl about town package but i couldn't find them on my lap top i dont know where they have gone, i'm sure they are there somewhere i'll have to sit down later and go through every file to find them. For the dotties world challenge you had to put a charm somewhere on your project. You cant see it very well but it is there and it's a little doggie. i have a little pot full of them and i'm going to start using them so thanks girls for the reminder.

I'm well and truly on a roll 2 posts in a day, This is my entry for sketch Saturday challenge this week, the image was sent to me by a friend and coloured with prisma's the spotty paper is pink petticoat, flowers are from poppicrafts and brads i found in my stash.

Just Magnolia

I know it's been a long time since my last post I've been really busy, I haven't done much crafting at all lately, that's gonna change from now on. Another brill sketch on the just magnolia blog. I enjoyed this one , the image is one of my fav's(but then again they all are) i don't know what make the papers are they were given to me, the image is coloured using prisma's anyways thanks for looking I'm off to do another challenge now while I'm on a roll.

Papertake weekly Dawny's sketch

I needed to make a card for my Mum's birthday on Friday so I thought I'd use this fabby sketch by Dawny and enter it for the papertake weekly challenge. Bit different for me this one. I used a few cuttlebug folders and an ink pad embossed the card and than rubbed an ink pad over the top of the embossing. for the piece where the dots are white i rubbed the ink pad over the folder before putting the card in. The image is elzybells and was coloured with pro makers and sentiment was done on the computer.

Wanted new team member

I love making these exploding boxes with the little paper shoes inside.

Funky hand are looking for a new team member and i thought I'd give it a shot, i would love to be considered for this and as they say nothing ventured, nothing gained, so her are just 2 of my favorite makes over the last year or so. The one I'm most proud of is the mini book i made for my little brothers 1st wedding anniversary, they loved it so much that it's still up in the living room.

just magnolia challenge a sketch

This is the card i made for this weeks just magnolia challenge. I used the colours green and purple so i could also enter it into the do crafts weekly tilda challenge.Tilda is coloured with prismas, the ribbon was white to start off and i used a pro marker to colour it green because out of the yards and yards of ribbon i have i couldn't find any green. I'm not too sure about the flower but i think it need one there.

Alex's blog candy with a twist

Alex has got the most scrummy candy on offer on her blog. To be in with a chance to win all you have to do is make a card with the fab sketch she has done or make her laugh out loud well i'm useless at telling jokes and the only ones i remember are rude and i dont think thats whats she meant. So i have made a card, Tilda is one that i got aff alex when we met in Blackpool so thought it only fitting to use one of them, she is coloured using prisma's, the paper's i've had for ages and are by k & co, the flowers were cut on my cricut. Back again I'm on a roll today. this is my 2nd challenge today, another sketch to follow this blog challenges you to use new or neglected stash. I used my new Dandelion stamp it is the first time its been inked, again he's been coloured with my new prisma pencils.

Here is my entry for this weeks sketch Saturday challenge. I've used one of my gurjuss girls coloured with my prisma's, boy these take some getting used to this is the first one that I'm happy with but i know i have a long way to go yet, will have to keep at it. Patsi has said she is going to give me a few tips when i go to the craft meet in Warrington in May. It's only right really since it's her fault i bought them(like i needed my arm twisted)in the first place. Papers are from my stash and the little brad like things are card candy that i got from Aintree on Saturday can see me using loads of these i love them.

just magnolia challenge pink & green

hiya everyone, I've not posted for a while have been really busy with work and stuff. i was asked to make a card for a friend who has just had a baby so when i saw the just magnolia challenge was pink and green i thougth I'd enter it into that. i used an image that was sent to me by a Friend coloured her with pro markers and sat her on some nesties. the pin i got from the local market a bargain 89p for 35 in a lot of different colours. i love a bargain..... pics not too good had to use my phone again, Kev has took the camera fishing, i think i'm gonna have to get him his own..

I made this card on sunday night but forgot to put it on here till now. Sorry about the poor pic but i had to use my phone because Kev has gone fishing and taken the camera with him. I really enjoy doing these sketch's, made using my new daisy and dandelion stamps and was coloured in using some prisma pencils i was given by Patsi ( oh what has she done.......... i need more now) i thought i was happy with my pro markers but these wow love them wheels are in motion as i type this to get me some of them.

I had a really lovely Easter Sunday I went to the manchester craft meet to see all the girls from blackpool again and met 2 new friends Sue & Nat it was lovely to meet you both ladies.

Truly Scrumptious challenge

Hiya everyone i hope your all well on this lovely sunny day, well it is here in the Wirral anyway, makes me feel like getting in the garden maybe the weekend eh. Here is my card for the truly scrumptious challenge. penny black and sketch saturday

The challenge this week over on the penny black challenge blog is THINK SPRING. Well when i think of spring i get yellow in my mind. I had to make a thank you card for someone so when i seen this and the fabby sketch over on sketch Saturday i thought I'd combine the 2 challenges into one. I used the message from above stamp and lots of yellow.the sketch had lots of circle on it so i used a cuttlebug embossing folder and added flowers so i hope it still counts.

i'm back again this time with the sketch saturday challenge, again another fabby sketch i'm so loving these at the moment. for this one i used my neglected Kerry jo stamps out off all of them i think this is my fav. She is coloured in using pro markers. the flowers again of cricut and cuttlebug.

penny black challenge

I hope everyone out there is ok, I've had a lazy weekend and done nothing really, apart from this morning i went to cheshire oaks to the paper mill shop, because i realised i only had 4 pieces of white card left and how long would that last me, so my hubby took me and my son and when we got there matty my eldest gave me the money to buy some new stamps, i got the Claire curd stampin chic party set and the sentiments set, thanks mat.

it's a sketch this week which i love doing. i used the cat in the tulips stamp,the scalloped edged papers looks like the treading water border punch but it's not i used a pair of fancy scissors and my cropadile, i think it works well. the papers and ribbon are from my stash the flowers were again cut on my cricut then embossed on the cuttlebug.

afternoon all, this is a card my boss asked me to make for her niece who has just got engaged, i wanted it to be young and funky because the happy couple are in thier early 20's, anyway i started one didin't like it, then another that ended up in the bin, after a bit of blog hopping i spotted a card on vikki's blog and thought that's it. so here is the result. tilda and edwin are coloured in with pro markers and all the shapes and letters have been cut on my cricut. i took it into work this morning and she loved it said it was the best one i had done for her, i was one happy bunny.

two posts in one day i'm getting good. this challenge really got me thinking it was to make anything other than a card so i changed an empty persil tub into a lovely box for my cuttlebug folders. And of course i used tilda again, i do love this one it was in a wallet off the lovely alex. the papers are from my stash cant remember the name of it sorry.

Truly Scrumptious challenge

Morning all, well things here have got so much better we can finally put the last few weeks behind us now and look forward to the future. thank you all for the messages ect it meant a lot to me. right onto the card then, i hope this counts as an entry because i haven't used an image on it. i really love how this turned out though( been a long time since i made a card with no stamped image on it). the papers are basic grey so is the swirl, lace from my stash, the buttons i made using little dome stickers i found in the bottom of a box i made the holes with my cropadile.

i must say i love this sketch and will deffo use it again. thanks for the challenge girls look forward to the next one.
