i'm back on online

i cant belive how long it's been since i last posted anything on here, the computer decided to pack up on me so had to sort a new one out. i have lots to catch up on including putting an award i got and a pay it forward blog candy to sort out, hopefully it will be done by tomorrow.

OMG I'VE BEEN TAGGED........TWICE

i've been tagged twice once by liz at getting crafty and by tara at happily ever after crafting thanks girls well here goes.

WHAT WAS HAPPENING 10 YEARS AGO?
cant remember that far back but i'm pretty sure i was at collage training to be a hairdresser. i passed all my course work and became a qualified hairdresser then a year later decided it wasn't for me so gave it up. i dont do it at all now.

5 THINGS TO DO TODAY...
it's my day off today so all boring stuff
1. washing
2. hovering
3. make the dinner for when everyone else gets home from work.
4. pop to the shops
5. make some cards that have been ordered.

THINGS I WOULD DO IF I WAS A MILLIONAIRE
firstly i would pay off our morgage, then i would buy both our familes nice big houses, i would love a caravan on site at flamingo land, we go there every year on hoilday for a week and i just love it rollercoasters all week long yep i'm an adrelian junkie.

PLACES I HAVE LIVED
this is really boring but i have only ever lived in one place Birkenhead on the wirral, it's just over the mersey river from liverpool it's a nice place to live well i think so anyway.

xmas tilda on a candle

i spotted this on someones blog(i'm so sorry cant remember who i will edit this post if i find it again). they are so easy to do.

1. stamp your image onto tissue paper and colour it in. i used tom bow pens.

2.when dry place tissue paper onto the candle and cover complete image with greaseproof paper.

3.using a heat gun over the greaseproof paper till the tissue paper sort of melts away. you will notice that the greaseproof paper looks wet, this means it's done.

gothic fairy

here's another of kerry jo's stamps this one is my fav so fa. coloured this one using tombow pens and koi brush and i used a a clear sakura pen on her wings. flower again from poppicrafts.

i made this using kerry jo's stamps she was coloured in using sakura stardust pens with a koi waterbrush. i then chalked around her (think i went a bit heavy handed, never done this before) th flower is from poppicrafts, the papers are from my stash.

anniversary card for my brother and sister in law

i didn't want to do just a card so decided on this instead
used pinkpetticoat papers and flowers from poppicrafts
changed photos from colour to black and white for a classier look, i'm really pleased by the way it turned out.

i just hope they like it.

using a stamp from an unmounted sheet i got from a craft show, coulored in using tombow pens and watercolour brush, embossing done with my cuttlebug.

how cute is this little fella? made with papers from dcwv mens paper pack(i think thats right i never keep the wrappers and got a very bad memory)

a few new cards

this is the first card i have made using the free doodle off the fabulously talented and genourous kerry over at curlygirlyme.blogspot.com. kerry has just had her first set of stamps launched and i for one can't wait till pay day to get my hands on them. the papers i used were free of the web somewhere but cant remember where from.

it's been nearly a whole month since i last posted on my blog have been really busy.
i must promise myself not to leave it so long again. i have made a few more cards so i'm off to grab the camera and get them on here this mornin.

i've got an award

i've been given this award by the very talented tara over on happyeveraftercrafting.Tara has only had her blog for a short time and it puts mine to shame. thank you so much tara you have made my day.

i treated myself to a new cartridge for my cricut at aintree last week it's home accents, and the shapes on it are georgous. i made this for a friend to say good luck for her new job.

totally loving george, have also got some dotties but not had a play with her yet, you can download goerge and dottie from charmed cards and crafts. i think footie george is my fav so far. i cant wait till more are avabilbe, goerge at work would be a good one.

2* When i was 14 i entered it'a a knockout at butlins cant remember where i came though.

3* we have loads of pets including 2 cavalier king charles spanials called spike & mollie, tropical fish, koi in the pond a hamster called buffy and five bearded dragons.

4* i work in a clothes shop in town which i love, yeah really

5* i've seen robbie williams live 3 times he is fab and gets better every time

every monday on the do crafts forum member loretta put's up a sketch. i have only just started taking part in these challenges, they are great cause i get a mental block all the time and would never have thought of these layouts. anyway this is mine for week 4

this stamp i've been after for ages got it yesterday and couldn't wait to play with it. coloured it using water coloured pencils , thimk i'm getting the hang of it now.

this is one of the stamps i got from aintree show got the idea from a card there. think i'll use this stamp a lot it can be used for all occasions

aintree update

what a brilliant day i had at aintree, so much for taking a list and siticking to it, i bought 6 new stamps (one which i have been after for ages so i had to get it didn't i), got a new cartridge for my cricut,lots and lots of papers,a cropadile,3 more embossing folders for my bug, build a flower die and embossing set. i even managed to get the tan mat from oyster crafts that lets me emboss brass stencils on my bug. got more ribbon as well , think i have a problem cant stop myself buying more .oh well gonna go and have a play with all my new goodies now.
