That Craft Place.....Anything Goes

Morning,
it's time for another challenge at That Craft Place
this time it's ANYTHING GOES
I'm so excited to share this with you all today,
I've recently started playing with the wooden
MDF pieces from the lovely Lisa
I have to tell you I have tried this technique so many times and
failed miserably, but then I went to a workshop
run by the wonderful Maira Simms and well,
lets just say it all clicked into place......

My Granddaughter is called Courtney but I call her Ney,
this is to go on the wall in her bedroom at Nanny's house.

To make it I started off with plain MDF letter, (Lisa can cut any words you like)
I covered them with bits of embossed card and die cuts.
I then covered the whole thing with gesso, once that
was dry I went in using a dry brush with a little cosmic shimmer paint in
graphite and teal.
I finished it off with a spray of shimmer.
hopefully you can see the shimmer in this pic...
What I love about this is it looks nothing like card at all..
I'd like to add it to the following challenge please....
Cut it up challenges......Embossing
have a fab week everyone xx
