Hiya I'm back again, this time with a card for Dottie's World. this is my first time at this challenge. The challenge was to make something with not too much fuss on it so i hope this counts. I made it using The Girl About Town download which i just love, i made a new baby card i also made another one the same but in blue for a boy.

Cupcake Craft Challenge

morning all, this card i made following another fab sketch, first time having a go at this challenge for me. the papers are basic grey, the image is Sarah Kay which I've had for ages and only used once so thought I'd better get her inked up and she is coloured using pro markers. Sentiment again is pink petticoat, buttons and charm are from my stash.

2 Challenges in 1:Sketch Saturday & Penny Black

Morning all, well i think i'm getting clever I've done one card for 2 challenges over at the penny black Saturday challenge the theme is pink & brown and i followed the super sketch on sketch Saturday. I made the card using Fur Ball Fun penny black stamp, mounted it onto pink and brown card stock, used a cuttlebug folder and basic grey papers . hope you like it thanks for looking shell x

Another new challenge blog

Morning all hope your all well this fine freezing morning. Well i cant believe how quickly this week has gone, I'm back to work on Sunday, but never mind I've got a weekend in Blackpool to look forward to 2 whole days of crafting with lots of crafty ladies should be fun.

Anyway back to the post, Carly from carlz cardz has set up a new challenge blog called CHARISMA CARDS and it's the first one this week you had to make something pink.

I decided to use Tilda(again) and my circle nesties to make the card base never done this before so it really was a challenge for me, getting it to stand up was the hardest bit because the flower is slightly hanging over it fell to one side and Tilda looked like she'd been on the sherry lol, so i just added a stand on the back. The ribbon, flowers and charm are from my stash and Tilda was coloured with pro markers.

papertake weekly challenge

the challenge over at papertake weekly this week is to use spots or dots on your project. I've chosen to use lily the fairy from pink cat studio, she is sat on circles cut with my nesties, and was coloured with pro marker, the papers are making memories boho chic a pad i found when i tidy ed my craft room yesterday. I really was ruthless if i haven't used something for 6 months or more then it went either in the bin or a pile of stuff for a friend of mine who is just stating out in the card making world( god help her ).Any way back to the card spotty ribbon added for the spots and cardstock embossed with cuttlebug. hope you are all having a good day. bye for now shell xx

A new challenge blog

It's called Sketch and Stash..... It couldn't be simpler to enter! Every 2 weeks there is a sketch to follow and all you have to do is use your new or never used (or hardly used!) stash on your creation! This is your chance to fall in love with all that stash again or just to show off with your brand new stash!!

I've only just started taking part in all these different challenges and i must say I'm really enjoying myself. I have a week off work this week so I'm planning to take part in a least one a day. My card for the first challenge following the sketch i used my new Lizzie stamp part of the blog candy i won off Heather(thanks again) coloured with my lovely pro markers then i added a border using a small flourish stamp i got from a show, the papers are Pink Petticoat Little swirls, hand written sentiment and circle flower thingy is screwed up paper and inked around the edges and then added a brad. thanks for looking. I'm off to find another challenge.

Sketch Saturday

This is my first attempt at this challenge i love doing sketches they used to scare the life out of me, but now i really enjoy them. The image is tilda coloured with pro markers, sentiment is pink petticoat, papers are basic grey and the flowers were cut using my cricut. thanks for looking.

penny black challenge

This is my entry for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge. This week the challenge is to use embossing on your project. I've used the Uplifting Occasion stamp for the image and the Happy Birthday cuttle bug folder for the embossing the flower is from my stash, the little piece of pattered paper is basic grey which i got from heather from rica's haven. I was really lucky and won her blog candy, i can not get over the genousosity of crafters thank you so much heather, amongts all the goodies i got was a wiff of joy stamp, lizzie with a muff, and it is beautiful.

First card of 2009

Happy new year to everyone in blog land, i hope you all had a good one. This is the first card i made this year. The image is elzybells (I'm getting quiet a collection of these now), papers i found at the bottom of a box i was sorting out, one of new resolutions is to sort out my craft room and keep it tidy ha ha don't fancy my chances of that, the flower embelishment i made using a tutorial in one of my mags.

Monochrome madness PTW

The challenge this week is to use only one colour on your project, you can use varying shades of one colour. I used a flourish stamp i got from a craft fair don't know the make. i finally managed to get my hands on that Santa stamp so used that for the first time, finished off with ribbon & flower from my stash. thanks for looking.

OMG whats up with me 2 posts in one day, that's just not like me must be on a roll. Thought I'd have a go of making a card using my cricut which I've not used it in so long(kept forgetting to pick up some cutting mats) Used the home accents cart for this one. I'm not too sure about it i think it could do with something else but don't know what, what do you think. Thanks for looking shell x

penny black challenge

The challenge this week is a

RECIPE......3....2....1

3 Flowers...2 Papers and 1 Ribbon.

As always it is entirely up to you what you create

a card...an ATC....altered art

as long as you include at least 1 Penny Black image.

I used pink petticoat papers,

coloured image with my pro markers,

the hat is water coloured cause i aint got a red pm yet.

but that may change now because i just found

out my local craft shop sells them in singles yippee,

Hubby's Card at Last

I have struggled to make this one every time i started it, it looked too girlie. Mrs j answered my last post and suggested i used Santa suit Lola i had forgotten all about her, this is what i came up with.

The papers are from Summer Driggs, the image is Lola occasions from pink petticoat coloured with watercolour pencils and pro markers, i cut some nestie shapes and covered them with a versamark ink pad then clear embossing powder, sentiment done on comp. do you think its OK? still a little unsure but gonna give it to him anyway.

I've got my works Christmas night out to night, Hopefully it'll put me in the Christmas mood, I dont know what is wrong with me this year maybe it's because the boys are growing up but i cant get in the mood, my tree is still in the loft. i may put it up over the weekend.

Ive been struggling all week to make a card for my o/h for Christmas cant seem to be able to come up with anything, all my stamps and things are all girlie or more birthday images for the fellas, i really don't like to say this but if my mojo doesn't turn up soon I'll have to buy him one...............

Here is my entry to Liz's comp at pink petticoat. The prize is a slice wow I'd love to win this, i made this card using the new mini download little swirls. I think this is my fave paper collection yet it will be useful all year round. I made it using the positive and negative in the same colour, the tree was made by doing some t bag folding which i learnt to do on Monday at a card club i joined, never ever done any before but thought it looked great on this card shape which is also new to me, tree then matted onto nesties. hope you like it and good luck to everyone who entered.

Christmas candles

I just thought i'd show you a few candles i stamped on the other day, they are for a friend at work to give to her son and daughter the are both having their first christmas in new homes so on the back i have put their names, year and address on as that is what she asked for. i enjoy doing these and have another order for 8 of them. only problem is i'm finding it really hard to track plain candles down.
