A Shaped Christmas Card

It's Friday whoo hoo,

That means another challenge from POLKA DOODLES.

This week we wanna see your shaped Christmas cards,

I made a 6x6 card blank and just folded a piece backwards

then stuck it onto another card blank, the pic is a better explanation,

cause I'm useless lol

I totally love how this turned out, I've used the contempary Christmas trees, papers and

sentiment from the Magical Winter part 2 CD, I then

just added some string and a button to finish it off..

Charisma Cardz DT Card Lace & Pearls

Hi Guy's

This week at Charisma Cardz we want you to

use LACE & PEARLS on your projects,

This is real easy for my as they are both my fav things....

I have coloured the gojuss Tilda using copics

I've been playing around with pleats again,

syill a long way to go but I feel I'm improving with every go.

The *kraft card* is a Primark paper bag lol

Lace & pearls are from my stash..

Make it colourful

Morning guys,

I logged onto facebook the other morning and seen the

Make It Colourful challenge for this week was

Light coming from a candle/lantern

I was looking at the dt examples and Vicky had put a coloured image on

and I used that for inspiration,(go take a look, her blog will blow you away).

Here's my attempt at the challenge...

I have merged Tilda with a few elements for Make it crafty,

The images were coloured with copics, the sky was done with distress inks, the light from the

lantern is also a distress ink...

the image is quite big so I had to use a larger card..

I'd like to enter it into the following challenges...

Polka Doodle Friday

Yey it's Friday the weekend is nearly here,

This week at Polka Doodles we want to see Swirls & Pearls,

For my card this week I've used the gorjuss Maxine stamp and the papers

are from the Pretty Sweet Cd.

I've added some flowers from my stash and they have been

dipped into German glass glitter.

Creative Inspirations.... All stitched up

Hi Guy's,

over at Creative Inspirations this week it's my turn to

pick the challenge and as you all know I love STITCHING

on my cards..

So this week it's all stitched up....

I also got to pick a guest dt member for the week and I asked

my mate Deb's....go and have a look at her blog I just love her cards.

Onto my card and guess what yep you guessed it my sewing machine

is playing up and i had to use faux stitches lol

I used Mikey the Elf from Saturated Canary ( I love all the Christmas images)

The papers are from cricut that I've had for years. I added a few pearls and a ribbon a bow and Mikey has been coloured with copics.

Polka Doodle Doo

Whoo it's Friday,

That means it's time for another challenge at Polka Doodles....

This week Fliss has picked SHAPED CARDS

mmmmm I think I cheated a little for this, I made an easel card....

it's shaped to me anyways cause I always make square ones lol.

For my card i have used the gorjuss papers and image from the Pretty Sweet cd

as normal i have coloured her with copics,

I have added some texture to the image by adding some grass...

not too good but not too bad for a first go either.

The sentiment, pearls and silver embellies are from my stash.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges...

Creative Inspirations DT Card

Morning guy's

Well I'm back on my lap top, I don't know how long it'll last,

but for now it seems fine...

I did have one hell off scare though cause I had nothing backed up

all my digi's ( and I have a lot) and papers etc are all on here.

Lesson learnt though and I now have everything on a few memory sticks..

This week at Creative Inspirations we want Lashing of Sparkle

For my card I've used an image and papers for the

Polka Doodles Sundae of Seasons CD

The snowman was coloured with copics and I added lots of stickles to the

tops of the banners.....

Bling It On

Aarrrggghhh my lap top has broken, I've tried everything to revive it but it's no good. Everyone I've asked seems to think it's the motherboard. I'm just glad that I have Internet access through my phone. I've got the blogger app on my iPhone so I can at least post my dt cards on here. I can't link to other blogs using it so no challenges for a while.
This month on bling it on it's Mocca's turn to choose the challenge and she's done us a fab sketch. Here's my take on it. I've used one of our sponcers images it's the fab Meljen designs.

It's my birthday in 3 weeks so if I drop enough hints I might just get a new one.

my other piece of good news is that I'm on the Polka Doodles

Design Team.....OMG i totally love all their stuff.

I'm just waitin for my dt package to arrive...excited much......

This is my first challenge as part of the team and this week

is Stashbox stamp week and the theme is mystical and magical.

It's also Stashbox Stamp week too, so you can use any

stamp you have in your stash, just team it up with other polka doodle products

I have used the silver fairy from WEE STAMPS and I've used paper from the

pretty sweet cd

She has been coloured using copics, i made the flowers using off cuts of the

paper and added an embossed panel and distressed the edges to finish it off..

"borrowed" off a friend and they are Tim Holtz.

No where is my stitching you say...It's on the sentiment you just cant see it

too good in the picture but it's there honest..

A Single Layer Card

Morning Guy's,

this week at Creative Inspirations we want to see

SINGLE LAYER CARD....

This was hard for me, I love lots of flowers and embellies lol

This is what I came up with, I used a lili of the valley stamp

coloured with copics and then I added a few pearls and a ribbon..

It's a very quick card and I might just do a few more for myself

for Christmas...

Make it colourful ~ Sheer Clothing

Yep I'm back again so soon

This time I wanted to show you my card for the Bi Weekly Challenge

over at Make It Colourful.

This time Zoe and the gang want us to try and create the effect of

SHEER CLOTHING.......

OMG i thought but just had to give it a go (I love theses challenges)

they are just that a challenge and I'm shocking myself all the time..

Heres my card

I have used Annabelle from Make It Crafty

I started off by extending the frame under her dress with very fine pencil lines,

then I used copics v000 and bvoo on the skirt and bodice off

the dress, then i used the colourless blender to take out some colour

till i was happy with the effect, i then used c1, c3, c5 and added

a touch of c7 to the frill. I also extended the big bow at the back of

the dress....I hope this makes sense...... cause it does to me lol

Well can you belive it's october,

not me the weather is truly gorjuss here....

Time for another Bling It On Challenge..

This month we want to see NO PATTERNED PAPERS.

I have used one off my new Saturated Canary digi's,

have you seen them????oh wow they are all gurjuss.

She's called Poppy and I've coloured her with copics,

I've just used embossed card for the backing and although

it's very plain for me i love how it turned out....
