basic grey and totally gurjuss

I'm back again this time I've made a card and matching candle for a friend for Christmas. the papers are basic grey Eskimo kisses which was part of my prize from Simon says stamp. the image is a freebie from digital doodling i thought she was just so cute, the image on the card has been coloured with prisma's and the candle was coloured with pro markers. The basic grey challenge is a colour combo of pink, blue and cream and over at totally gorjuss it's free and easy so let you imagination run wild.

stampin for the weekend brown & blue

Morning all, god it's freezing here today so I'm staying in and spending the day crafting is there a better way to spend a Saturday i think not. onto my card it's my entry for this weeks stampin for the weekend and this week it's a colour combo of brown and blue i just love brown and i think it's look brill with blue. The image is one of the manga girls from sugar nellie and she was coloured with prismas, the papers are left over from last year and sorry cant remember what make. hope you all have a great weekend.

hi guys, this week on just magnolia challenge blog the theme is Christmas, it's nearly here I'm panicking a bit now I've only bought 2 presents and not long left. I've made a card and a matching box for a special friend for Christmas inside the box is a bracelet i have made myself, don't want to put a pic of that on here in case she reads this post. Tilda has been coloured with prisma pencils.

I'm back at long last

hiya everyone well where have i been the last 4 weeks I'd love to say somewhere exciting but no such luck. i just have not been in the mood for any crafting at all every time i tryed my mojo up and went, but thank god it's back an I'm so in the mood again good job really still have loads of Christmas cards to make yet.

this card is for three challenges Mo's digital pencil challenge blog, there is a red, green and gold theme this week and also Stamin for the weekend has the same colours so i think it's ok to enter it for that as well and lastly totally gurjuss has a sketch to follow i know it's not a gg but any girlie image is ok to use.

Stamping for the weekend and Sundaysketch and stamp

hiya everyone, it's been a long time since i last entered any challenges but i just don't know where the time has gone lately, hopefully normal service will now resume.

this week Stampin for the weekend this week has a fab challenge by Vikki she wants us to make a Christmas goodie box with the added challenge of distressing. I made a mini pizza box using a lovey Tilda image i got off a friend at the weekend i tryed my best with the distressing i think you can just about see the edges of the cardstock(will try harder next time). I also followed a sketch for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge so I'm entering it for that challenge as well.

Morning, what a horrible day here it's miserable today. the card i made this morning is for challenges 2 challenges and a dt call. I followed the fab sketch at Cup Cake Crafts , and over at Passion For Promakers it's any colours and animals, Thirdly i decide to enter this card for the dt call at Cards For Men. I used Scruff in the tub from charmed cards and crafts aint he a cutie? the papers are k & co coloured with pro markers. i'm really enjoying making these easel cards.

First off I'd like to thanks the girls over at stampin for the weekend I MADE THE TOP 5 and it made my day to say the least thanks girls it's such a boost.

Onto my card and this is for SFTW and also I'd like to enter it into the creative inspirations challenge they are both Halloween and this is prob the only one I'll make this year and I've given it to my brothers kids. Shape up for Totally Gurjuss

Week 2 over at totally gurjuss and this week the girls want to see a different shaped card. i looked around and found instructions on how to make this card, but i the end i did my own and it was so much easier. I have used the guardian angel gurjuss girl again(love it) coloured using my prisma's, papers are k & co and the sentiment is done on the computer using the scriptina font, ribbon and gems are from my stash.

I'm back again, you will all be fed up with me by the end of the week but I'm determined I'm gonna finish all my Christmas cards before Friday. Stampin For The Weekend & Totally Gorjuss

Morning everyone, I've got a week off work this week oh what to do eh, I'm just gonna take it easy and do nothing but craft all week. Hopefully I'll finish all my personal Christmas cards. I am hoping to go to Alton Towers on Friday for the scarefest, we go every year the park is open till 9 at night and to do all the big rides in the dark is just amazing so hopefully Kev can get one day off this week(fingers crossed).

My card today is for SFTW following a sketch and i found a new challenge blog called Totally Gorjuss as the names says its for all things gorjuss the first challenge it is pink. the guardian angel image is my fave gorjuss girl i just adore her. Good luck to all the girls over there I'm sure it will be hugely popular.

stampin for the weekend....it's back yey

Stampin for the weekend is back with a great colour combo....Orange, Brown and leafy green.

The dt have as usual done some great cards go and take a look you will not be disappointed.for my card i used all my new goodies from Port Sunlight at the weekend, i bought far too much as you do....the image is musing Melinda from whiff of joys and my fave buy of the day a Martha Stewart doily punch, Melinda is coloured using prisma pencils with pro markers for the skin i cant seem to get the colours right using prismas, the papers are k & co and cost me 2pound for the pack(bargain)...thanks for looking and i hope you all have a great night.

Friday Sketches

I hope your all having a good Monday, I've been off work today so i done a bit of housework and than some crafting, i needed to make a card for Kev's fishin mate and had no inspiration at all so looked for a challenge to help me and i found Friday Sketches and thought that's just what i need. I rotated the sketch i must admit i think it's a bit flat (not the sketch my card) but it'll have to do.

Papers are from the masculine set from dovecraft, i think, the image is another of Mo's fab one's coloured with prisma's, i love it, when i have done a fishing themed card in the past i always thought that they looked a bit childish but not any more the image is perfect.

Hi there, I'm back again this time with a card for Chrisma Cardz the girls over there want to see some decoupage on your projects this week. To be totally honest with you it's not really my thing I'm too impatient for all the cutting out. I decided to use my penny black stamp uplifting occasion, which i don't use often enough. i decoupaged the bra,

a closer shot so you can see the decoupage.

The cat was coloured with prisma's and the ribbon trim and flowers are from my stash, the papers are a free download of the net somewhere and the sentiment was a freebie from a mag.

2 in 1 challenge card.

Afternoon everyone, hope your all having a good day. it's my day off and had a bit of a lie in didn't get up till 10 then did some washing then locked myself away in my craft room for the rest of the day well at least till 5pm when they will all be back from work hungry.

Here's my card for Simon Say's Stamp challenge this week it's a colour combo of Red and Green and of course this just shouts Christmas to me and as luck would have it the challenge at A Spoon Full Of Sugar this week is Christmas so i combined them both. I used Christmas fairy Holly from mo's digital pencil( just found out they are going to be make into rubber stamps soon, cant wait).

the papers were a bargain i got from port sunlight last year only cost a pound a pack. going again on the 10th looking forward to that, ribbon is from my stash.

Truly Scrumptious challenge a sketch

well i managed to do another challenge this morning here's my card for the sketch challenge over a the truly scrumptious blog. I really enjoyed this one and i will be using it again that's for sure.

Another of Mo's images i think this one has to be my fav at the moment anyway....... i used core'dinations card stock which i embossed and then sanded, papers were left over from last Christmas i cant remember the make, but i want some more so I'll have to look it up.

Papertake weekly

morning all, this is my card for the papertake weekly challenge, Its black and white + 1 this week. I used another of mo's images again (just love colouring these in) I sat last night in front of the tele and coloured a whole pile of them.This one has been coloured using my new pro marker that i won in Ida's mini blog candy it's lime zest, the papers are Clair Curds big one pack and the sentiment is one of hers as well. I'm going to try and do another challenge card now before i have to be in work......Just uploaded the pic and it looks brown but i promise it's black.

morning everyone i hope you all had a good weekend. I had a fab one, went to stay at my friend Patsi's and on Saturday we had a brill time crafting with Jen than later on Sara another friend joined us, we had a few drinks on Saturday night than on Sunday we all went to Warrington for the Crafty Devil craft meet and as always had a great laugh all the girls are great.

anyways onto my card, i' entering this into the Simon Say's Stamp challenge. i have used one of Mo's images they are all so yummy i just adore them all, this card i kept quiet plain because i think I'm going to do about 50 of them using different images so it wont talk forever to do my Christmas cards. special ones like for family I'll do something else.

just magnolia a sketch

Mmmm not too sure about this one now I've posted it on here. the girls at Just magnolia gave us the challenge of a sketch, i started this on Saturday and only just finished it today. i think my mojo has got up an gone. i have used in my mind eye papers and ran some pale pink card through my bug using the divine swirls folder. Tilda has been paper pieced and coloured with pro markers.

Morning all, it's a lovely day here, the sun is out and its really warm. Makes a nice change its a pity I've got to go to work this afternoon, oh well needs must( i have my eye on some new stamps i want, gotta pay for them some how).

When i saw the sketch on Stampin for the weekend i panicked at first then took a minute or two and decided to make a wedding card for a friend in work. i used in my minds eye wild asparagus papers which i love, never coloured the images in too much i don't think they needed it, i used pro markers for the bits i did colour. I'll be back later on with my just magnolia card for this week.

Just Magnolia and stampin up for the weekend

Well firstly i must say i cant believe it's been this long since i posted on my blog, promise to self don't leave it so long again, i have still been craftin and taking part in all the challenges it's just my Internet connection has been pants but it's all sorted now.

So onto my card for this weeks just magnolia and stampin for the weekend again i have combined them both, JM had a sketch by Mina which is a lovely one, she is so talented, SFW was a trio of colours being orange, Teal and Pink. I struggled a bit with the colours but i think it's come together nicely, i'm pleased with the end card.

The papers are in my minds eye, the flowers, pins and lace are from our local market and tilda has been coloured using prisma's

Creative inspirations

Spots, Dots and Circles is the challenge this week so i had to make a card for a friend for a little boy staring big school in September so i thought I'd enter this challenge at the same time. The class Joe is to go into is called the polar bear class so i googled cute polar bears, came across this little cutie sitting on some books and thought it'd be perfect.

Stamping for the weekend and just magnolia

I'm still alive. If anyone was wondering where I've been, I've been on my hols.

We went to Flamingo land in Yorkshire and stayed in a caravan for a week, we had a brilliant time i just love it there and cant wait to go back next year.

On to the card i have made this morning, it's another double header for stampin for the weekend and just magnolia challenges.

SFTW was to make a project in the theme of days gone by (vintage) and JM was the theme of friends, tilda was coloured using a mix of pro markers and prisma's the backing paper is my minds eye.

Just Magnolia

This week at Just Magnolia the girls want to see some distressing on your projects.
Here's my effort it really does look better in real life the pic is a bit bright. the backing paper i made myself using a cuttlebug folder and some brown paper, Tilda is coloured using pro markers. I've got myself a new laptop and now i have to transfer everything from one to the other, I'm telling you i found stuff on the old one from places like pink petticoat that i'd forgotten i had so it's like having a load of new stash to play with.

Papertake weekly

OMG miracles do happen 3 posts in one day. I was just going to get ready for darts ( i play once a week) anyway tonight is the pairs and my friend and me have been drawn against 2 county players so we'll prob get knocked out tonight I'll let you know how we get on. i had a quick look online and seen the papertake weekly sketch so thought I'd do a quick card before i go. i really like this and no patterned paper in sight.

sketch saturday

I'm back again this time with a challenge card for Sketch Saturday. i Followed the sketch and wanted to try some new things so i coloured the whiff of joy image in with chalks(never used these before) then i added clear embossing ink and clear powder a couple of times and then put it in the freezer for half an hour then when it was frozen i cracked it and i think it looks a little like glass. the other new thing i did was i made the swirly background paper myself using my cuttlebug and divine swirls folder i will deffo be doing that again.

dont think i'll be back again today but you never know stranger things have happened.

2 challenges in one.

Well i finally got some whiff of joy stamps so i can enter the challenges on their blog woo hoo. it's a great sketch this week and i really enjoyed this one. Image is coloured with my prismas again and i distressed some of the coredinaions card i really like the effect it gives.I added some pearls so it also qualifies the the cinsperations challenge where you had to use pearls or gems on your project.Another 2 great challenge blogs and I'll deffo be back to do more.

Mina's Sketch and Strawberries dipped in chocolate

This week over at the just magnolia blog there is a fabulous sketch by the uber talented Mina, and the stampin for the weekend blog the theme is strawberries dipped in chocolate yum yum...... i have used a tilda image that i think is just one of the cutest I've seen she was coloured with my prisma pencils( I'm so loving these more and more every time i use them)..

I have been combining these two challenges for the past few weeks and i just know that one week they are both going to have sketch's to follow what will i do then. I'm going to see what other challenges i can find I'm off work for the next 2 days and intend to spend the time in my craft room.

Just Magnolia and stampin up for the weekend

I've combined these two challenges again, the just magnolia blog wanted to see charms on your project and stampin for the weekend gave us two fab sketch's to choose from. i went with the second sketch by Donna. Tilda was coloured with my prisma's, the papers i used are from the Claire curd range, the little flowers i made myself i don't think they look too bad for a first attempt. and believe it or not i couldn't find a single white button in my box, feel a shirt destroying session coming on.

morning everyone hope all's well out there in blogland, it's been so hot here not that I'm complaining or anything i just don't feel like doing anything. I had a few cards to make so i made one using the fab sketch this week over at Papertake weekly. I cant remember what make the papers are, i never can when they are out of a pack, think I'll start writing on the back what the make is. just magnolia sketch and stampin for the weekend wallet card.

The just magnolia challenge this week is a sketch and I've combined it with the stampin for the weekend challenge which is to make a wallet card. I got myself a small sewing machine from netto for 24.99 a friend told me about them cause i said i was after one and i got the last one they had so was over the moon, think i need more practice though. the papers are papermania sweet nothings and i used coredinations card stock, all the flowers are from my stash. i think this tilda is so cute but i accidental cut off her wings but she still looks cute. coloured with pro markers.

The weather here today is lovely just going to grab my book and get in the garden for a bit

Just Magnolia

I'm back again this time with my entry for this weeks just magnolia challenge what a good one it is this week. We had to alter a container it could be anything at all so i altered an old tea container i use for storing my flowers in. sketch saturday and stampin for the weekend

Morning, hope your all well today.

The weather here on the wirral is awful, but i knew it would be it's my day off, oh well I'll have a crafty day.This is my entry this week for the Sketch Saturday Challenge and also Stampin for the weekend where the challenge was to use a digi image. The papers are basic grey and the image is Jim from the digi stamp boutique, coloured with pro markers.

I'm back again this time with another Anya card this is for the colour create challenge the colours this week are blush pink, lilac and mossy green and to use a die cut somewhere and this is what i came up with.Anya has been coloured with my prisma's and sansdor I'm lovin working with these, still got a long way to go with them but I'm feeling more confident every time i get them out, die cut flowers again cut on cricut.

Finally finished decorating the hall this morning and I'm still off work till Monday so I'm going to craft all weekend, well till Saturday anyway then Kev is home.

Truly Scrumptious challenge

Morning everyone, this is my entry for the truly scrumptious challenge this week. It's a sketch to follow and i love this one will be using it again for sure. as well as flowers on your card they had to be altered so i cut them on my cricut then ran the through the cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder turned them over and use a pro marker to coloured the debossed dots. I'm loving this colour combo. Oh and inked my new anya stamp for the first time.

Bev has some candy on offer to celebrate the new whiff of joy release's due out on the 14th june pop over and take a look.

First off sorry for the poor pic i had to use my phone again cause Kev has took mine to France for a week, he's gone fishing.While he's away I'm doing some decorating have you ever started summit and then thought WHY did i start this........so i took a break and made this card. I'm entering this in 2 challenges Just magnolia and a new one stampin for the weekend.

Stamping for the weekend was to make a card in Purple & Yellow and i followed the sketch at Just magnolia.The papers were a download and sorry cant remember where it's from, Tilda has been coloured using pro markers.

Just added the pic and it looks more blue than purple but honest it's purple......

Got my self both sets of the greeting farm's miss anya's yesterday so i cant wait to have a play with them.

Passion for Pro markers week 2 & sketch Saturday

Well this card has taken me 2 days to make my mojo has upped and gone, every time i started it everything went wrong so i left it then about an hour ago i finally got it done, i like the way it turned out. The challenge this week at Passion for promarkers is to use the colours APPLE & PASTLE PINK. I used the daisy stamp i just think she's so cute and i followed the sketch for this week at Sketch Saturday.

I had some good news on tuesady i found out i'd won one of the comps at Dotties World and my prize arrived on wednesday morning how quick was that, thanks again louise it's all fab.

Diestodiefor Sketch Competion

Hiya again, twice in one day whats wrong with me? I came in from work and my son said he'd cook chicken fajita's for tea mmmm lovely, so i popped on line while he was busy being Jamie Oliver, anyway saw on Tracy's Blog that she is running a sketch competition and it runs till 31st May. CCRS Colour Challenge Brown & Blue

This is my first go at this challenge. I just loved the colour combo and all the dt cards so thought I'd give it a go. Image coloured with my pro markers, the brown papers i found in my stash i think i got them from the pound shop. I did a bit of paper tearing and i quite like the effect, maybe seeing that a bit more i think.Circles on the blue card are CCRS doodle stamp set, sentiment also ccrs.

Passion for Pro markers week 1

There is a new challenge blog just for pro marker lovers and OMG the prize for the first challenge is AMAZING i just had to have a go. Card is made using an image that a friend gave me i think it's from pollycraft. The backing paper is made using the broad end of the 2 purple pro markers i used to colour her clothes in with. The ribbon was just a white one i found in my stash coloured with the amethyst pen. little flowers are a punch and i added some card candy to finish it off. hope you like it.

list of colours used....ivory, blush and pastel pink for the skin. lilac and amethyst for the clothes, backing paper and ribbon. shale for the hair. Magenta, yellow and meadow green for the flowers,and cool grey 1 for the outline.

Just Magnolia get in shape

When i saw that this weeks challenge was to make a shaped card i thought oh god i don't do shapes then i looked at all the design team makes and took inspiration from them and came up with this one. I'm really pleased with it. i made the card blank by drawing around a card wrap i had then again to make a smaller one, you cant really tell on the pic but the dots on the black card are green i used black magic card and sanded it so the green came through.

This one is for 2 challenges the sketch and stash challenge fab sketch to follow and i used my neglected digi stamp from charmed i was going to use my girl about town package but i couldn't find them on my lap top i dont know where they have gone, i'm sure they are there somewhere i'll have to sit down later and go through every file to find them. For the dotties world challenge you had to put a charm somewhere on your project. You cant see it very well but it is there and it's a little doggie. i have a little pot full of them and i'm going to start using them so thanks girls for the reminder.
